Hey folks!
The name's David McNeill, I'm 24 years of age and I'm from sunny Balloch (Loch Lomond). I'm a software/game developer and I have a beautiful girlfriend, of almost 6 years, standing by my craziness. I voted "yes" in the independence referendum for Scotland because I believe Scotland can do better. I believe we can create a far more socially just society with full control over our economic levers and I trust in the Scottish people that, like me, they would love the control over NOT going into illegal and aggressive wars.
Thanks for reading my hello thread, now tell me about you (in your own thread!).

Hi Everyone My name is Lynda Combe. I am older the Kirsteen and David lets just leave it at that lol. I live in East Lothian. I don't work at the moment, I had a hip replacement done three 3 years ago and it didn't work. I was never really that much into politics until all this referendum stuff started. To tell you the truth I have only voted maybe 3 or 4 times always SNP. I always said when I was younger I will never vote until Scotland can vote for Independence. Low and behold I thought my dream was going to come true come the 19th September how gutted was I along with the rest of the YES voters. This is my new Motto We're all broken and damaged, We aren't quite fixed yet, A lot of us have gone through hell, But you know what, We will come back, We will come back stronger, You Know why, We are worriers and warriors fight. The fight will go on.
Kind regards
Lynda xxx

Hi Everyone
I'm from Glasgow, voted Yes in the referendum and was absolutely gutted when the result came in. I went to sleep feeling desperately sad and woke up angry. Angry at WM, angry at the biased media, angry at those who conspired and lied to get the No vote. That anger has now turned into a determination to try and get the truth out to the No voters and to see my country free. I'm hoping us Yes voters can come together to realise our dream of a free Scotland.

Hello my name is Brian Cairns, I'm 35 and I've been inspired be the Scottish Independence Referendum to study politics.
Growing up the news and important people saying/doing important things went over my head I never understood it and to be honest I found it all a bit boring.
Though I found myself interested in the world in other ways and began to form opinions and beliefs.
I realised within this that current affairs was important to know and decided to keep watching the news and reading as much as I could, once it came time to vote for the first time I knew it was important and that I had to make an informed choice.
I read each leaflet and made sure I understood what each party was promising and stood for, my choice was easy only one decision came out clearly above the rest, one that would create positive change and a chance for Scotland to prove it could do more
I voted SNP then and every other chance I had to vote I continue to show them my support still to this day as I firmly believe they are the best hope for the future of Scotland.
