Hello Everyone,
My name is Kirsteen, I'm 23 years old. I studied Acting and Performance at College. I'm currently working as a customer service assistant, in the west end of Glasgow. I've always believed there was more to life and about 1 year ago, I fully realised this and began my journey of what I would describe as "Waking Up". The world as I thought I knew it swiftly began to change. I voted Yes (Obviously) in the Scottish Independence referendum, because I would have just instinctively voted that way anyway, but also because I felt the energy and positivity of the Yes movement. It was great to see so many of us that all believed in the same simple ideas coming together for Peace, Equality and showing such beautiful Compassion towards others. Many of us I think realised at that moment that we weren't just dreamers and unrealistic, but that collectively we can and will continue to change things as we all have the same common goal. I am and forever will be completely Optimistic. We dare to dream, and in doing so we find others who also dare to dream. We have lots of work ahead of us, but it is now our duty to fight for a new world. We will do it, together.
