Hi folks,
My name is Lorraine Fyfe, I am 48 years old. I am a mum of five and have nine grandkids. I am a carer.
I of course voted yes in the referendum because I believe we could run our country better than it is being run at present. I looked at my own life time and the things that have happened politically in that time. What I realised was that nothing had actually changed for the better and
i couldn't see it getting any better with the cuts to the NHS and the welfare reforms among other things.
I was heavily involved in the housing movement for twelve years during that time Scottish Homes diversified their stock. I was chairperson of Townhead tenants association at that time and the tenants mandated us to look into and set up a housing association which we did successfully and took over just over 250 houses.
so here I am with a renewed vigour for helping people and getting more involved in the Yes movement.
